With such promising credentials, I felt confident in contracting their services to help streamline our backlink generation efforts.

Impressed by the agency’s onboarding process, I proceeded with hiring an outreacher, whom I’ll refer to as Tony. Initially, our communications were frequent, and I was optimistic about the potential impact on our site’s visibility.

The Cracks Begin to Show

It wasn’t long before issues surfaced. Despite my initial assumptions that the agency had established procedures and understanding of quality link profile construction, I quickly discovered that Tony was relatively inexperienced. Additionally, I realized that starting anew meant establishing my own training protocols. Rather than assuming pre-existing knowledge, I took the time to develop comprehensive documentation aimed at guiding my new freelancer in alignment with our brand’s vision.
